Pianist Iori Kimura, an exceptional melody maker, and bassist Kohei Morita, captivating with their emotionally diverse musicality, released their debut work "Blessings -in Yatsugatake Kogen Ongakudo-" recorded at Yatsugatake Kogen Ongakudo in Nagano Prefecture, followed by their second album "Common Nostalgia" a year and a half later. Now, after another year and a half, their third duo work, "Lost Summer Blue," is released. Zino Mikorey, who handled the mastering for the previous two installments, continues to contribute to this release. Last August, their pre-release EP "Japanese Suite 'Summer'" was added to numerous streaming playlists, and the track "④ From the Slope" became a hit with over 100,000 plays.

This latest album maintains the sound-making approach of the previous work. It starts with the refreshing and magnificent opening track "① Blue and Sepia," reminiscent of a nostalgic and delightful past. The album features a beautiful melody that feels like being embraced by a pleasant breeze in track "② My Blue Bird." Additionally, it includes three suites expressing Japan's nature and original scenery, tracks "④-⑥ Japanese Suite 'Summer' ". The album also captures the essence of a summer night with the leisurely tones of track "⑧ Tranquility by the Sea". "⑨ Rainy Forest" envelops the listener with the gentle sound of rain-like piano notes and resonating smooth double bass.
In total, the album comprises nine tracks, inviting the listener on a musical journey where calm emotions and fiery passions intertwine.
